Description: Ribe Viking Centre tries to reconstruct the city of Ribe's oldest history of buildings and the like from the city's oldest three-four first centuries. In the 1300 years old city came during the Viking Age many seasonal craftsmen and merchants from nearby and distant, when it was common to live in tents, although solid buildings also existed. However, there was a fixed place of tent city grew each year. During the late Viking Age, the city became increasingly built permanent and Medieval Ribe occurred.
